There is lot of hard work involved in all the discoveries. The concerned person put lot of efforts in discovering a new thing, but sometimes few things just happen by luck or by accident. Some of such accidental discoveries are.
1.Viagra
Men being treated for erectile dysfunction should salute the working stiffs of Merthyr Tydfil, the Welsh hamlet where,in 1992 trails, the gravity-defying side effects of new angina drug first popped up.Previously, the blue-collar town was known for producing a different kind of iron.
2.X-Ray
Several 19th-century scientists toyed with the penetrating rays emitted when electrons strike a metal target. But the x-ray wasn't discovered until 1895, when German egghead Wilhelm Rontgen tried sticking various objects in front of the radiation - and saw the bones of his hand projected on the wall.
3.LSD
Swiss chemist Albert Hofmann took the world's first acid hit in 1943,when he touched a smidge of lysergic acid diethylamide,a chemical he had researched for inducing childbirth,He later tried a bigger dose and made another discovery:the bad trip.
4.Penicillin
Scottish scientist Alexander Fleming was researching the flu in 1928 when he noticed that a blue green mold had infected one of his petridishes - and killed the staphylococcus bacteria growing in it.All hail sloppy lab work!
5.Artificial Sweeteners
Speaking of botched lab jobs, three leading pseudo-sugars reached human lips only because scientists forgot to wash their hands.Cyclamate(1937) and aspartame(1965) are byproducts of medical reasearch, and sacharin(1879) appeared during a project on coal tar derivatives,Yummy.
6.Microwave Ovens
Microwave emitters(or magnetrons)powered Allied radar in WWII.The leap from detecting Nazis to nuking nachos came in 1946, after a magnetron melted a candy bar in Raytheon engineer Percy Spencer's pocket.
7.Brandy
Medieval wine merchants used to boil the H2O out of wine so their delicate cargo would keep better and take up less space at sea. Before long, some intrepid soul-our money's on a sailor - decided to bypass the reconstitution stage, and brandy was born.Pass the Courvoisier!
8.Vulacanised Rubber
Rubber rots badly and smells worse, unless it's vulcanised.Ancient Mesoamericans had their own version of the process, but Charles Goodyear rediscovered it in 1839 when he unintentionally(well, at least according to most accounts) dropped a rubber-sulfur compound onto a hot stove.
9.Silly Putty
In the early 1940s, General Electric scientist James Wright was working on artificial rubber for the war effort when he mixed boric acid and silicon oil.V-J Day din't come any sonner, but comic strip image-streching practically became a national pastime.
10.Potato chips
Chef George Crum concocted the perfect sandwich complement in 1853 when-to spite a suctomer who compalin that his fries were cut too thick-he sliced a potato paper-thin and fried it to a crisp.Needless to say,the diner couldn't eat just one.
Might be some luck involved in them but after all of this lot of the discoverers effort was involved in bringing them to real worlds use.If you have any such thing share it.

A true story

This is a true story from the Japanese Embassy in US.

A few years ago, Prime Minister Mori was given some Basic English conversation training before he visits Washington and meets president Bill Clinton. The instructor told Mori "Prime Minister, when you shake hand with President Clinton, please say 'how are you'. Then Mr. Clinton should say, "I am fine, and you?" Now you should say 'me too'. Afterwards we, translators, will do all the work for you." It looks quite simple, but the truth is.... When Mori met Clinton, he mistakenly said "Who Are You?" Mr. Clinton was a bit shocked but still managed to react with humor: "Well, I am Hilary's husband, ha-ha...." Then Mori replied confidently "Me too, ha ha ha."

Then there was a long silence in the meeting room, nobody knew what to do!!!!!!!!!! !!!

One of the greatest match of the IPTt20 matches.
between rajasthan royals and chennai superskings. In the start no1 even think of royals to reach the finals but they make it to the finals.Rajstah roayals reach semifinal without loosing a single match in their homeground jaipur.Only lost three matches in the league matches.
As delhi dare devils beat them badly in their first encounter in firozshah kotla in delhi. But rajsthan replied so strongly in semifinal n beat delhi by 103 runs, and proves that they are the superior ones.

Same Chennai leaded by Dhoni also played well in the tournament and manage to reach the semifinal.Mohali lost to chennai and that to badly in the semifinal.

Today out the three matches (i.e both semi's and final) was the best.
Match result was decided on the last delivery.May be it was Royals luck that they win today match also.As they were down to 43/3 at one moment in 6 overs and it seam to be a difficult task. But thanks to Yusuf Pathan and Watson Royals manage to win this match.

So Rajasthan, the underdog in the start emerge out to be the strongest of all the teams.
It was due to Shane Warne's captaincy and palyers contribution. As I also feel that start cant do better than the performers. And the yougsters perform better than stars and proves themselve in the series.

So finally IPL come to an end but it was one of the most exciting event in India and everyone enjoyed this, and why not cricket is religion in India and Sachin is God.!!

As CEO of Emerging India and the owner of Rajasthan Royals never expected in the beginning that the team they are owning going to bring this much pride to them. And they come out to be the winners of this series.

Earning Online

Hmm...After a long time,I think why shouldn't I write something on this since these days earning online is very popular amung the young generation.People use to opt so many different ways to earn money.I also searched on some of the things on this and tried few of them, and also get paid.

If you are a blogger or own a site and you keep updating your site on regular basis and your site got the traffic so you must try any of the publishing site to publish ads on your site/blog to get paid. Here are few of them I m listing for you.

Adsense.
AdBrite
Bidvertiser

Today, I dont have anything to do,then I decided to surf on net.I started searching the most searched keywords on search engines, and I m surprised to see the results.I found paris hilton and britney's name in the list, befiore searching I guess it would be porn and something related to this.I m happy because I dint found this in top 10 ketwords.

Anyways after I found britney's name in the list of top searched keywords, I started searching on her.First question that comes to my mind is the post title,"Why is Britney Spears Still Famous?".Is people really thinks that she's still so famous.Answers is yes.because if she's not famous people would not be concerned about her.

Why is she famous? Our media is obsessed with a singer who hasn't actually sung anything in years. Her "greatest hits" album was out in 2004, her last album of original material was out in 2003. Is she actually working on new material? When was her last tour? The last great performance I remember her giving was kissing Madonna on MTV.

We're obsessed with Britney's marriage, with whether or not she's a good mother, and the attention grabbing things she does. She wants to be left alone, but no, she's posing nude (while pregnant) for this magazine or that, she's talking to Matt Lauer, we're supposed to feel bad for her - no! - we're supposed to hate her. Aren't we?

She is a fine example of a trend. Why do we care about "celebrities" who don't actually have a function, or who have lost their place in the spotlight?

Why did Britney's reality TV show flop when so many others just like it succeeded? The Newlyweds worked until that couple decided that they were happier divorced. Hulk Hogan has a show that exists pretty much solely to promote his daughter's fledgling musical career. Even Paris Hilton cashed in on being ignorant while America watched before she decided she wanted to be a singer.

even when you look the picture available here,it give you a isea why she's so famous...!!!

so have a look....

Virtual Tech Days

Since Microsoft launches three products and to promot them, microsotft organise this contest called "Virtual Tech Days" on 9th and 10th of april. In the contest you just have to listen either of the 16 seminars(4 parallel) a day and answer questions based on the seminars.
Total of 32 seminars were organised and after every seminar 5 questions were asked based on them. You just have to answer them within 10 minutes to be eligible.I also participated in 3 seminars unfortunately becuase of the basic knowldge of these three newly launched technology I m not able to win some exciting gifts from microsoft, but they praised me by sending a certificate of participation.Alaso this contest is open for all and the results are anounced on the very same day, when I m going through those names,I just found few of the student names, all I found were professionals. So I feel,if microsoft organise this contest again for students only it will be fun and a nice way of knowledge gaining.

Voice and Speech Recognition

An easy software solution to enable you to control your computer, dictate emails and letters, and have the computer read documents back to you.

10 Reasons for Trying
e-Speaking's Software

1. Free Download of software
2. Over 100 commands built-in
3. Ability to add more commands
4. Runs in Windows2000 and WindowsXP
5. Small file size
6. Utilizes latest technologies from Microsoft
7. Seamlesly integrate with Office
8. Voice commands of Mouse events
9. Based on SAPI and .NET technologies
10. Easy to Use

What Is It?
Command and control your Window's computer through your voice. Operate your computer using a minimum of keystrokes or mouse clicks. If you want to move the cursor down one line, simply say: Down One. Want to check your emails? Simply say: Open Email. Add commands to open and control any Window's document or program.

What is Speech Recognition? What is Voice Recognition?]
These are exciting technologies that change the way you interact with your computer. Now you can speak to your computer and it can speak back. The speech that you and your computer exchange is scripted. In other words, you can't just ask your computer how he/she is feeling? Rather, you can talk to your computer using a set of pre-defined commands and instructions (i.e., a script). Your computer will respond in the same way (also using a scripted language). For example, you can say: "File Open", and the computer would respond: "Select the file". Or you can say: "Edit Find" and the computer would ask: "Find What?".

Why speak to your computer?
People have been speaking to each other for tens of thousands of years. Our brains have evolved to perform a fantastic and complex set of analyses of auditory input (i.e., sounds). Our brains convert the sounds we hear into conceptual ideas and thoughts which in turn form the basis of instructions, commands, information, and entertainment. Though the computer is just beginning its evolution in this area, most computers are capable of hearing your speech and acting on it. This is the promise of voice recognition technology today. Using speech to interact with your computer--both you speaking to your computer and your computer speaking back.

How Does It Work?
Utilizing Microsoft's Speech Application Program Interface (SAPI) and Microsoft's .NET Framework, we have developed a very small and efficient voice command and recognition application. SAPI and .NET are both required to use this software.

Dictation as Well?
Voice Dictation is integrated into the e-Speaking application including 26 different Dictation Voice Commands.

Why e-Speaking?
Our intent in developing this product was to suppliment your ability to command and control your computer through your voice. To enable you to have access to dictation software using Microsoft's SAPI speech engine. And to allow the computer to read documents and emails to you.

How Expensive is It?
It is Shareware. That means: You can download it and try it out for 30 days to see if you like it. The 30 day trial period is Free! That's right. You can download it with over 100 built-in commands and begin using it today at no cost. If you really like the program and want to use it beyond the first 30 days, the cost is $14.

Users Guide?
Access the on-line user's guide.
What is Speech Recognition?

Speech Recognition is a technology that allows the computer to identify and understand words spoken by a person using a microphone or telephone. The ultimate goal of the technology is to be able to produce a system that can recognize with 100% accuracy all words that are spoken by any person.

Even after years of research in this area, the best speech recognition software applications still cannot recognize speech with 100% accuracy. Some applications are able to recognize over 90% of words when spoken under specific constraints regarding content and previous training to recognize the speaker's speech characteristics.

Computer software that understands your speech enables you to have conversations with the computer. These conversations would include you and the computer speaking as commands or in response to events, input, or other feedback.

Speaking is easier and more intuitive than selecting buttons and menu items. Human speech has evolved over many thousands of years to become an efficient method of sharing information and giving instructions.

3.In the command prompt,type ipconfig/flushdns press enter.Then type ipconfig/release,then ipconfig/renew .Now type exit.

4.Now try downloading, for many people this may work if their ISP provides a dynamic ip.

Rapidshare Method 2

1.Just switch off your router(or modem) and switch it back on.

2.This may work for some users(Mtnl and Bsnl) and maybe some others too.

Actually these methods generally work for those people whose ISP gives them dynamic ip.

If these dont work then one more thing that can be done is to use proxies.

1. It boasts how long it can stay up. Go to the Command Prompt in the Accessories menu from the All Programs start button option, and then type 'systeminfo'. The computer will produce a lot of useful info, including the uptime. If you want to keep these, type 'systeminfo > info.txt'. This creates a file called info.txt you can look at later with Notepad. (Professional Edition only).

2. You can delete files immediately, without having them move to the Recycle Bin first. Go to the Start menu, select Run... and type 'gpedit.msc'; then select User Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows Components, Windows Explorer and find the Do not move deleted files to the Recycle Bin setting. Set it. Poking around in gpedit will reveal a great many interface and system options, but take care -- some may stop your computer behaving as you wish. (Professional Edition only).

3. You can lock your XP workstation with two clicks of the mouse. Create a new shortcut on your desktop using a right mouse click, and enter 'rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation' in the location field. Give the shortcut a name you like. That's it -- just double click on it and your computer will be locked. And if that's not easy enough, Windows key + L will do the same.

4. XP hides some system software you might want to remove, such as Windows Messenger, but you can make it show everything. Using Notepad or Edit, edit the text file /windows/inf/sysoc.inf, search for the word 'hide' and remove it. You can then go to the Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel, select Add/Remove Windows Components and there will be the software and you can now uninstall it.

5. For those skilled in the art of DOS batch files, XP has a number of interesting new commands. These include 'eventcreate' and 'eventtriggers' for creating and watching system events, 'typeperf' for monitoring performance of various subsystems, and 'schtasks' for handling scheduled tasks. As usual, typing the command name followed by /? will give a list of options.
